1994
Our company is registered in the Nuremberg commercial register as a provider of printer supplies, and commences business activities.
In spite of intense competition, the one-man firm, using a telephone, fax machine and an old TA typewriter, managed to overcome high barriers to market entry and acquire its first regionally based low-volume customers. A warehouse clerk is recruited to manage our continually growing stocks.
The name "Edico Equipment" is created.
Our company makes its mark as a supplier of low-cost computing supplies, with a strong focus on customer orientation and pricing policies that break even only in some areas.
2000
Initial transregional sales form the basis for nationwide business; rebuilt products are added to the range of services.
Satisfied customers are proof of our success: sales broke the one million mark.
Another sales employee joins our team and our new online shop offers our customers a fast, reliable and convenient way to place their orders.
2005
Our constantly growing range of products, expanding team and customer base makes it necessary to acquire larger premises. In order to serve our customers even more efficiently, we move to new premises with 3 storeys and a storage area of over 1,000 sqm.
Our team consists of seven sales employees, two warehousing specialists and two administrative staff, all committed to providing customer satisfaction. We also have our own delivery service, guaranteeing fast deliveries to your door.
2010
Our success has been recognised by our suppliers and manufacturing partners. As the sector leader in terms of sales, manufacturers HP, Lenovo and Intel have appointed us their partner. More than twenty employees in sales, administration, warehousing and IT are proof of our high performance levels.
We also open our refurbishment center, where we repair and refurbish defective and used IT articles, so that they can be donated or redirected to the economic cycle.
With over 10 million IT products in all categories, both new and refurbished, we have established ourselves as a value-added reseller and full range IT supplier.
2015
Millions of IT products in all categories, new and refurbished, more than 170 field warehouses, 4,300 suppliers and more than 19,000 customers worldwide make us a globally networked value-added reseller, ITC distributor and full range supplier.
Our range of services is expanded to include data recovery, erasure, IT repairs, managed print services and EOL services. Gold partnerships with leading manufacturers are proof of our success.
